Fruitloops and green???

Chad said this the other day, and I thought it was funny.....

Let me give you a little background: We have been eating fruit loops at our house lately...and for some reason it turns my kids poop green.

So, the other day I was changing Kayla's diaper and Chad noticed her green poop.

Chad: Hey mom, Kayla has green poop just like me!

Me: Yes she does, and do you know why she has green poop? It is because you both eat fruit loops!

Chad: No, its not cause I eat fruit loops, it's cause I eat Vezdabels! (Vegetables)

When it is time to veg. and watch t.v., these are some shows I like to see...(cheesy I know, it just came out that way)

The show that will never get old for me is Little House on the Prairie. I don't think there is an episode I haven't seen many times over and over again. I have heard many say how cheesy it is, and how it is not realistic. Who cares! I think we should strive to be more like them. I would much rather my kids watch a show where kids are respectful to there parents and brothers and sisters...a show where "Laura" sells her fav. horse to by her mom an expensive Christmas present, and the feeling of love she felt for her mom far surpassed the love she had for her horse...a show that in the end, they will always do the right thing. This show is a classic!

GHOST WHISPERER

I love this show! Once in a while I can get Jeremy to watch it with me...but, usually it is me by my self watching it after everyone has gone to bed. I think Jeremy likes it...he just doesn't want to admit it.

24
We just started watching this season. If you love nail biting, intense shows...this is for you. We want to watch all of the old seasons this summer.

LOST
I have watched this show from the beginning. Huge Fan!

AMERICAN IDOL
The men are strong this year....I have my fav's...who are yours?

I also watch dancing with the stars....love it.

Thank goodness for DVR. We watch most of these shows after the kids have gone to bed. No commercials, and it is quiet!

Fresh Air

Favorite thing this week: WARM WEATHER. I love to open my windows and let the fresh air come in. I love it! Those that live around here know to enjoy the fresh air when we get it, because sometimes the mink farms stink so bad we can't open our windows.
So, here's to warm weather and fresh air!

I have actually looked out this very window...it is up in Cardston Canada and it is beautiful!

Enjoying the Outdoors

Last weekend we went up the canyon to have a weenie roast.
I was prepared with coats and hats because I thought we would freeze.
The weather couldn't have been more perfect! My grandma, parents, brothers, sister, and nephews all came up and we had a great time. It was relaxing and the kids went on many adventures. The hot dogs were awesome, my mom made homemade potato salad, I made the baked beans, chips, dessert, drinks. Yum, yum.
The biggest adventure of all was Chad. Someone caught him doing this behind a tree...

This is grandpa (my dad) who is helping the kids find fossils in the rocks. He also took all the grand kids on a hike and played with them all day. He is such a great "hands on" grandpa and I love him and my mom for that!

The kids loved climbing on all the big rocks.

Our wood chopper...he thought he was pretty cool!

This is a picture of my sweet grandma...I was so happy she was able to come.

Cousins holding hands...so cute!

Dallas & Katie & Addy we missed having you with us! And Gary (who is on his mission) we missed you too!

Go Brayden!!!

Way to go Brayden on a great season of Basketball. Every game you improved and we loved watching you play. We are proud of you.

Maybe someday we will be able to get one of these in our backyard:

"Sweet Dreams"
(hee hee)

Broccoli or Hot Dogs??

About two weeks ago we had hot dogs for dinner. Brayden had it in his head that he was not in the mood for it and wanted something else. I told him he couldn't just have chips for dinner. I also knew that 10 minutes after dinner he would complain that he is hungry. Knowing this, I told him he had two options....
1- He could eat the hot dog
or
2- I could cook up some steamed broccoli

Me -thinking he would for sure eat the hot dog...and that would be the end of "Mom, I'm hungry...what can I eat".

Nope- he picked the broccoli and ate half a plate full.

Go figure......

Bragging

This is my brother and his cute family.
They have been living in Hawaii.
Since they have been there they have met a couple of famous faces. If you know this tv show you'll know who they are.
They told me they were both super nice.

My brother who is on his mission in California right now saw another member of the same movie coming out of his house: Hurley.

Anyway, I thought it was pretty awesome, and I wish I could say it was me that met them. Thanks Katie for letting me post this.

I guess I am being hush, hush about the title of the movie, because I don't want a thousand people (k-maybe not a thousand) that I don't know looking at my blog.
